Tashkent to host CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies meeting
Today Tashkent will host the 47th meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services.
At the meeting, it is planned to consider issues of strengthening cooperation in the fight against international terrorism, drug trafficking, transnational organized crime, joint development of measures to prevent inciting ethnic and religious hatred in the CIS, ensuring security in the field of transport communications and the economics.
It is planned to discuss the situation in Afghanistan in the context of its influence on ensuring regional security in Central Asia.
Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center will present a report on the results of joint anti-terrorism exercise and announce the Center’s work plans for 2020.
