The election office starts its activities

The Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan has opened its election office. Party activists, public and mass media attended the event.

Chairman of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Boriy Alikhanov noted that the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan is taking all necessary measures for active participation in the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Local Kengashes of People’s Deputies. Party’s new electoral office will contribute to active preparation for the election process.

The election campaign began on September 20, 2019. According to the new Election Code, it is determined that a political party can represent candidates for deputies if it gains the support of at least 40 thousand voters, the forms of subscription lists will be issued by the Central Election Commission after the announcement of the beginning of the election campaign.

On September 24, 2019, the Central Election Commission issued registration certificates to authorized representatives of political parties and signature sheets of a certain sample for collecting voters’ signatures.
